“Guest” means any person making a booking or using the services of the Adventure Lodge.
“Booking” means a reservation made through the Website for accommodation or services.
“Services” means accommodation or any related services provided by The Hank Maribashoek Adventure Lodge.

2. Use of the Website

3. Bookings and Reservations

All bookings made through the Website are subject to availability and confirmation by us.
By making a booking, you warrant that you have the authority to do so and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.
The booking confirmation email sent to you constitutes a contract between you and The Hank Maribashoek Adventure Lodge.

4. Payment Terms

Payments for bookings can be made directly into our bank account via eft.
We accept the direct deposits as our payment method.
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to maribashoek@thehank.co.za.
Cancellation terms and applicable refunds depend on the type of booking and timing of cancellation:
- More than 14 days before arrival: Full refund minus a non-refundable booking fee (if any).
- Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: No refund.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the original payment method.

6. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in time is from 2pm-8pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is by 6am-10am on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability and additional charges.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to respect the property, staff, other guests, and local environment.
Damage or loss caused by guests will be charged accordingly.
The Lodge is not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during the stay.

8. Liability

While we take reasonable care to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, we do not accept liability for any injury, loss, damage, or theft suffered by guests or visitors unless caused by our negligence.
The use of any facilities or participation in any activities arranged by the Lodge is at your own risk.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations.
